The festive concert dedicated to the International Women's Day – March 8, was held at Al-Farabi KazNU. It was opened by the congratulatory speech of KazNU’s Rector Galym Mutanov, in which he highlighted the great contributions of the female part of the University staff. «Most of the staff of KazNU are women, who always perform the assigned work with particular responsibility and carry the unity of the University team. Thanks to their efforts, they not only educate, but also guide our young people on the path of morality and goodness. They increase our success and move our society towards new horizons and discoveries. With such women, we can only be proud and always be ahead», - said Galym Mutanov.

The University always pays great attention to the celebration of the International Women's Day and this year it has organized a festive concert for the ninth time. It was called «Bari de Sіz Ushin» (Everything is for You).

Each performance was evaluated by a special device «sound meter», which defined decibels of audience applause.

The most famous verses of films and melodious songs of all times and peoples were performed for the audience. Among which there were also songs to the lyrics of Galym Mutanov performed by the group «Ruhani». The main singers of the event were the most talented men of the University. For instance, a song from the film «Kyz Zhybek» was sung in the performance of a vocal group led by the soloist - Dean of the Faculty of Journalism Sagatbek Medeubekuly. «Toi Zhyry» from the film «Station» was performed by the quartet of the Faculty of Philology and World Languages and the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology. The team of men from the Faculty of Pre-University Education and the Center for Situational Management has surprised the audience with their performance. The Faculty of Physics and Technology, the Faculty of Oriental Studies made a brilliant performance with their song «Disco Dancer», as well as the Higher School of Economics and Business and the Faculty of Mechanics, Mathematics and Information Technology. The performers composed of the men of the 16 Faculties of KazNU get a big hand of applause, and they were awarded high scores by the «sound level meter».

Thus, the Spring holiday concert was a success. After all, each performance was prepared from the heart, and therefore such a bright and unique gift will remain forever in the memory of the whole University team, who attended the festive concert of KazNU.
