China Studies department has been actively working in the direction of combining fundamental education and professional preparation for many years and inviting potential employers to read the lectures on various topics for the students.  According to the students’ opinion lectures and workshops are always meaningful and helpful for better understanding of the career choice issues. 

The meeting for students of 3-4 courses and masters with the Deputy Director of LLP "CNPC International in Kazakhstan", the Director of Human Resources CNPC Raihan Abdrasilova was held. The lecture’s topic was “The practice on the Kazakh-Chinese joint company of oil-gas sector”.

During the lecture Raihan Abdrasilova told the students about the current situation among the Kazakh-Chinese oil and gas companies, familiarized listeners with the requirements of the experts-competitors and working conditions at the enterprises of this kind. The speaker also shared her own experience and views on the issues of preparation of experts with Chinese language knowledge. Noting the high level of knowledge and skills of students of the Chinese Studies department, representative of the LLP "CNPC International" expressed its willing to assist in the employment of the KazNU talented youth.

 Chinese Studies department have a positive experience of cooperation with the representatives of the ‘real sector’. Meetings of this kind with potential employers brings good effects, students are better adapted to the labor market and the number of employed graduates of KazNU is growing every year.
