Educational outcomes |
ON1: Possess knowledge of the basics of theory and methodology of tourism, provisions of international conventions and UNWTO documents, methods and technologies of working with specific information. ON2: Know the regulatory and legislative framework in the field of tourism and hospitality, the basics of territorial organization and economic relations in the industry context. ON3: Apply methods and skills of working with modern technology, computer programs, Internet technologies, GDS in professional activities. ON 4: Calculate the need of enterprises of tourism and hospitality organizations for material, financial and other resources. ON 5: Apply research methods of tourism market and the ways of interaction with the entities of external environment to form and maintain partner network. ON 6: Use marketing research techniques to promote and sale tourism and hospitality products and services. ON 7: Manage the team, evaluate the effectiveness of its work on implementation of production task, tourism project. ON 8: Ensure sale and promotion of tourism products and services of tourism and hospitality enterprises. ON 9: Obtain basics of tour operating, designing, creating a tourist product, Internet technologies. ON 10: Supports corporate culture of tourism and hospitality enterprises, participates in selection and adaptation of personnel, prevention and elimination of conflicts. ON 11: Solve professional problems and tasks based on innovative approaches to territorial organization of tourism and Internet technologies. ON 12: Able to perform communications with profound justification of position aimed to address tasks of inter-personnel and inter-cultural interaction during professional activity. |

Academic activities |
The academic activity of the EP is carried out:within the framework of existing regulatory documents and methodical guidelines in the field of higher education in the field of services,as a result of the implementation of regulations governing the educational and methodological process at the university;by generalization and dissemination of new normative legal acts concerning methodological work;by current and long-term planning of educational and methodological work of the university; by coordination of the educational and methodological complex of the discipline (EMCD) of the department for compliance with regulatory legal acts, the working curriculum and the educational program;by monitoring the provision of the educational process with educational and methodological materials, by documenting the results;by development of teaching materials; by development and implementation of a working curriculum. |
Scientific activity |
For the implementation of the educational program at the faculty there are:a specialized tourism office;special tourist equipment and for field expeditionary research;GDS “SABER” specialized class/laboratory;GIS laboratory;communication and technical equipment with appropriate software support. |
International activities |
Academic mobility is implemented on the basis of relevant agreements with partner universities, including foreign universities, in particular, Kodolanyi Janos University of Applied Sciences (Hungary), Anadolu University and Ankara University (Turkey), Belgorod National Research University, Ural Federal University named after the First President of Russia B. N. Yeltsin, St. Petersburg University, Lomonosov Moscow State University, RUDN University (Russia), The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU) (China), etc. There is a possibility of academic mobility within the framework of the Tourism Sub-Alliance of University Alliance of the Silk Road (Xi'an, Hong Kong, Samarkand, Almaty), network programs of UNWTO TedQual. Program participants (more than 80 leading specialized universities in the world), international programs MEVLANA, Erasmus +, etc. |
