Target

  • With the help of information technologies, independently acquire and use new knowledge and skills in practice, expand and deepen their scientific outlook.
  • Know the role of mathematics in describing processes and phenomena occurring in various fields of engineering and technology; the role of computer modeling based on mathematical models in the process of proving facts in various fields of science, the possibility of using computing environments for processing models and forecasting, problems of constructing modern information and control systems based on information technologies.
  • Apply fundamental knowledge in mathematical analysis, algebra, geometry, discrete mathematics, differential equations, physics, mechanics, information and communication technologies to solve fundamental and applied problems.
  • Develop and analyze mathematical models of objects and phenomena; apply analytical, numerical, numerically - analytical methods of researching models; explore mathematical models in the field of natural, socio - economic sciences using special software.

  • Effectively use abstraction and inductive thinking as key characteristics of the language and structure of mathematics and abstract data types in various programming languages ​​for solving computational problems and developing applications, as well as designing information systems.
  • Implement effective numerical methods and algorithms in the form of software complexes for conducting a computational experiment based on experimental data and provide presentations of the results;
  • Use the skills of constructing mathematical models and studying them on a computer, highlight the applied aspect in solving a scientific problem, correctly present and interpret the result. To transmit the result of the conducted physical, mathematical and applied research in the form of specific recommendations expressed in terms of the subject area of ​​the phenomenon under study.
  • Apply methods of mathematical and computer modeling, computer graphics, 2D and 3D modeling, visualization, as well as develop software packages for solving scientific, applied, production and technological problems.
  • Work in a team, tolerantly perceiving social, ethnic, confessional and cultural differences, critically assess their own activities, the activities of the team, outline the path and choose means for self-development, improving their qualifications.
