The history of chair

DEPARTMENT OF TURCOLOGY AND THEORY OF LANGUAGE

Our country, on its difficult path, has closed the next 31-year-old historical pages of a difficult fate, has put on the verge of analysis the path it has traveled as an independent state. Someone from conscious people who realize that Kazakhstan is a part of a huge space that makes up human potential would take a deep breath of this moment and evaluate his last thirty years of conscious life with an anthropocentric approach transformed by a new consciousness.

Today, the "Turkic world", which has become recognizable on the stage of the world history of mankind under the concept of "Mangilik el", has become a phenomenon worthy of attention for the Universe. It is no coincidence that the Turkic people, whose description has firmly entered history, began to be perceived by mankind as the most important component of the world system. Attention to the general cultural historical and written heritage, reflecting the kinship and unity of the Turkic-speaking peoples, to the study at the global level, from the point of view of the horizon of today, is conditioned by the requirement of time and space.

Recognition of the formation of national integrity as an ethnos leads to the ancient Turkic era, a deep and equal historical treasury, which is the source of our historical consciousness. In order to clarify the history of the development of the Turkic people, studies of the ancient Turkic cultural heritage, the language of the Turkic ancient written monuments, the language of medieval written literature were conducted, and state programs "Madeni Mura" were proposed to study the spiritual heritage as national values that survived the path of generations. Particular importance was attached to the relevance of the idea of " Mangilik el " from the point of view of anthropocentric cognition.

As a result of the activation of this state program and ideas, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has become one of the brightest brands in the vector of Higher Education of the republic. The concept of the university, which has become the spiritual and intellectual center of the country, whose goal is to know the world through the prism of science and education, is aimed at training a comprehensive, competitive specialist capable of meeting the requirements of a "full-fledged personality" in the global space. This is one of the most striking innovations and new projects of the head of the University, Zhanseit Kanseitovich Tuimebayev, aimed at realizing the spiritual values of the Turkic world as a state ideological reference point in the training of specialists.

66 years ago, the Department of General Linguistics started working at the Philological Faculty of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Thanks to the conscientious pedagogical activity of scientists and teachers who worked at the department in different years, the department has been conducting fruitful work for many years. This department became the place of work of such scientists as I. I. Meshchaninov, S. E. Malov, Zh. A. Aralbayev, K. A. Akhanov, V. M. Nikitevich.

Of particular note are our leaders, who have earned a high rise in the foundation of the department. From 1950 to 1961 associate Professor Zh. A. Aralbayev, from 1961 to 1977 corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, author of the first textbooks "Introduction to Linguistics" and "Fundamentals of Linguistics", first published among linguists of Kazakhstan, who laid the theoretical foundations of linguistics as a compulsory discipline in higher educational institutions, Professor K. A. Akhanov, from 1977 to 1979 Professor V. M. Nikitevich, from 1979 to 1995 headed by Professor A. S. Amanzholov, from 1995 to 2009-Professor E. D. Suleimenova .

Associate professor Chernova V. V., associate professor Coca N.N., associate Professor Kerimov A. K., Professor Orazbayeva F. Sh., associate professor Nikolaeva G. N., Kukushkina M. P., Ivanov E. N., Cheryazdanova E. K., associate professor Sagalovich S. M., professor Shaimerdenova N.Zh., professor Avakova R. A., Professor Smagulova Zh. S., Professor E. N. scientists who contributed to the science of Orazaliev, Professor Saurykov E. B. et al. The department included specialists in Arabic language and literature: Professor A. B. On the eve of the 30th anniversary of independence of Al-Frabi KazNU, the Department of "General Linguistics and European Languages" at the Faculty of Philology was renamed "Turkology and Language Theory". The decision on this was made at the Academic Council of the University.

The department, which has almost a quarter-century history and established unique traditions, trains specialists in accordance with modern requirements of master's and doctoral studies in the specialties "Linguistics", "Linguistics and intercultural Communication", "Computational Linguistics", "Turkology","Foreign language: two foreign languages", who are fluent in European and Eastern (Turkic) languages. Undoubtedly, the department has extensive experience in education and scientific research, as well as in the field of language theory, comparative and comparative linguistics, studies more than 40 modern Turkic languages in the world, their history and culture, ethnography, trains specialists-Turkologists of a new type, whose history begins with the study of ancient Turkic monuments.

Today, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is becoming an intellectual center that can become the basis for fundamental research in the field of Turkology in Kazakhstan and Asia.

It is no coincidence that the competence to assign the professional qualification " Turkology " is assigned to the Faculty of Philology, including this department. Leading specialists in the field of Russian Turkology, major scientists-Turkologists are concentrated at this faculty. During the Great Patriotic War, such scientists as Professor Sergey Malov, a specialist in ancient Turkic writing and Professor Igor Meshchaninov, a leader of language theory, gave lectures on various branches of Turkology at the Faculty of Philology. Later, famous scientists-Turkologists such as Abduali Kaidar, Marhabat Tomanov, Gubaidulla Aidarov, Abzhan Kuryshzhanov, Arsen Ibatov, Altai Amanzholov, Berikbay Sagyndykovich, the current rector of KazNU Zhanseit Tuimebayev created their own school.

The author of major scientific works, textbooks, curricula on Turkology of the Russian Turkology is also directly associated with the name of these scientists. To date, the students of these scientists are well-known researchers, teachers, well-known at the International, national level. They professionally deal with issues of Turkology at prestigious universities, research institutes of the republic, abroad, conduct research.

The newly formed creative team of the department is ready to conduct comprehensive research, bringing to a new level the work of the revived department, its scientific potential.

Speaking about the history of the department, we recall first of all our academician Amanzholov Altai Sarsenovich - a man with deep scientific knowledge, who successfully passed all the stages of the search path, who managed to form various scientific directions in many areas of linguistics, who managed to turn his department into a frontal scientific laboratory of the university, who speaks several languages fluently, the author of works written on the material of various languages of the world.

Altay Sarsenovich Amanzholov is one of the few scientists in Kazakhstan, a knowledgeable specialist who formed his school in science and introduced a new stream into Turkology, a researcher of the ancient Turkic language of written archives of Kazakhstan, who is distinguished by his conclusions regarding the history of the origin of ancient Turkic writing, the dynamics of the development of graphic systems. The name of the famous scientist-turkologist Amanzholov Altai Sarsenovich is known not only in Kazakhstan, CIS countries, but also in many foreign countries. This is evidenced by the lectures of the scientist read abroad and the dissemination of works from Turkey, China, Russia all over the world. A. S. Amanzholov paid attention to Turkic philology, problems of Turkology in general, the ethnogenesis of the writing of ancestors, the history of the ancient writing of the Turkic peoples, the ways of reading it, the meaning of words, worked on revealing the secrets of the culture of their writing. Listening to the lectures of the scientist, hearing his words, his students are working in all corners of Kazakhstan today.

He noted that the golden fund of noble wealth is in the people, in it you can see all the areas of the cultural fund that still remain in your pocket, and find data that will expand the horizons of science. "The duty to protect, study, know and take care of the mines", - the son of the Kazakh people, a patriot scientist, Doctor of Philology, professor, winner of the medal "Veteran of Labor" (1988), "honorary member of the Kazakh Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments" (1990), academician of the Academy of Humanities of the Republic of Kazakhstan (1995), knight of the Order "Kurmet" by Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan (1999), winner of the international prize and gold medal of the Organization for Economic Cooperation (2000), academician of the Academy of Arts of the Republic of Kazakhstan (2007), Honored Worker of Kazakhstan (2009 ) – Amanzholov Altai Sarsenovich. A. S. Amanzholov's scientific research has published about 200 works on Turkic philology and linguistics, covering many issues of the history of language and writing. The scientist has trained four doctors of philology, about twenty candidates of sciences. "Data and research on the history of ancient Turkic writing" by Amanzholov, "History of Turkic philology and writing", "History and theory of ancient Turkic writing" (Almaty, 2003, 2010).), "Fundamentals of Turkic philology", "Experience of studying Turkic languages" (Almaty, October 2012), in which a fundamental analysis of ancient Turkic runic graphics was carried out in the last years of his life, several epigraphic materials on Kazakhstan were given, important theoretical conclusions concerning the history of the formation of Turkic the runic alphabet. In addition, the Turkic runic graphics have been studied with new views on the genesis of the Turkic runic alphabet based on clear sequences and a comprehensive analysis of epigraphic materials found in the region of Kazakhstan. "Our great ancestors ruled in the Great Steppe from Altai to the White Sea. We were left with an Immortal heroic epic and a rich spiritual treasure. For the first time in the world, a common Shanyrak was invented – a yurt, iron, trousers, arrows, boots and an Arrow," the message says. Amanzholov, conducting a scientific analysis of the monuments of ancient Turkic writing, proved that the ancient Turkic language has a special value of this writing, the language of the Saka tribes that inhabited the early Kazakh land, the Turkic runic script was original, which our ancestors used for 1500 years. Amanzholov A. S., having studied the lexical, sound, grammatical features of the ancient Turkic language, made a great contribution to the Turkological science. The culture of the Turkic peoples is connected with the world culture and is a treasure trove of present and future generations. The scientist all his life, on the basis of studying the inexhaustible treasures of the priceless wealth of the blue Turk, left his work, which could give an impetus to the existence and mind of subsequent generations.

The legacy of a unique specialist in ancient Turkic runic monuments in Kazakhstan, honored teacher, scientist A. S. Amanzholov has been passed on to future generations. "The name of a good one will not die, the letter of a scientist will not die," he said, noting that the legacy of the scientist awakens the spirit of the Kazakhs, recreates the mysterious history of the sacred Atameken, gives representatives of the younger generation an opportunity to learn more about the history of their people through the writing of their ancestors, and also become a source of monuments of ancient Turkic time and spiritual and cultural values that have come down to us since that time.

The precepts of the scientist, calling future young scientists to the purity of science, loyalty, love for the Motherland, service to it, hard work, will continue forever. In the last years of his life, the scientist with great hope and faith left wonderful research papers that could list and study the current problems of modern Turkology and serve as a guide for future Turkologists.

Currently, the department consists of a highly specialized creative team working in various branches of general and private linguistics, Turkology and a like-minded person. These are scientists who are known for their names and scientific works, which have now spread throughout the country and far beyond the borders of our country.

The scientific and pedagogical path of Madiyeva Gulmira Bayanzhanovna is connected with the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. It is no coincidence that I set foot on this path. Because his father, Madiev Bayanzhan, was a well-known journalist, worked in the newspaper "Leninshil Zhas", the magazine "Communists of Kazakhstan". According to the respected journalist Nurmakhan Orazbek, such intellectuals of the nation as Abilfayyz agai, Abai Beisembayev, Sapar Bayzhanov, Kakimzhan Kazybayev, Bayanzhan Madiyev, Sherkhan Murtaza, Seydakhmet Berdikulov, Telman Zhanuzakov, Berkut Iskakov became symbols of one era. In fact, there are generous people who are careful, who walk slowly and clearly, who do not even notice the good deeds they have left behind, who spread the good around them for free. To such people it would be correct to include Avakova Raushan Amirdinovna, Doctor of Philology, professor.

It seems that there is a peculiarity of growing up in the aura of the capital, from birth in a special city like Almaty, where the old Alatau is located, to the age of citizenship. The conscious life of A. Did mother Rosa, who devoted herself to teaching Kazakh language and literature at the Seleznev Almaty Choreographic School, have a great influence, or was it the desire of a demanding, dreamy young man. Between 1981-1986 she graduated with honors from the Philological Faculty of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University with a degree in Kazakh language and literature. Meanwhile, he became a full-time graduate student of the Department of General Linguistics of this university. The future scientist stepped on the threshold of world linguistics, which will become the basis of his future life, and studied with the masters of fundamental classical philology. Although Tomanov Marhabbat, Suinshaliyev Kangali, Karimov Hassan, Sairambayev Talgat, Zeynolla Kabdolov, Altai Amanzholov, Amen Kaidarov, Myrzabekov Saparkhan, Kyraubayeva Alma boarded a stranger's ship today, the young scientist-legend of Kazakh philology with golden letters saw the audience.

Raushan Amirdinovna's first step on the path of science coincided with the end of the old, the beginning of the new, nineteen ninety-one (1991). It was a six-tooth empire - a time when most of the Soviet system collapsed and the Union republics began to separate. During the great social changes, the change of formations, seventy years of formation, the collapse of an entrenched ideology, great crises occurred in the economy, science, education, art and culture.    This year marks the 31st anniversary of our independence. This is an important milestone in strengthening the young state. In the process of gaining independence, each member of society asked: "Where have we been in thirty one years?", "Have our goals and objectives been defined?" It is better to look for answers to the following questions: The thirty first anniversary is an important moment to return to the past, reflect on our achievements and shortcomings, realize our dreams and step into the future with a new impulse.

It is known that a young state will survive various crises before it can get back on its feet. It is clear that the impact of the crisis will be felt in all spheres of society. Such phenomena are especially pronounced in the field of science and education, which is the generator and driving force of the state system. The people who helped us to spend such critical hours in the country's education sector were teachers of today's Higher School. If we look back at the thirty one years of science in which scientists have traveled, we will come across pages full of complexity and contradictions, as well as many questions and questions. As a result, we see the formation of a fundamental national science, a nation of scientists, with its own position and horizons of development, straightforward, based on the national spirit, with a second wind. The owner of a strong country is an educated generation.
