On April 21-22, 2022, the Faculty of Geography and Environmental Management held the IX International Student Forum: "GREEN BRIDGE THROUGH GENERATIONS", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Kazakhstan's accession to the UN.

The purpose of the forum was to attract the attention of both the youth itself and representatives of government, science, education, business, the general public of Kazakhstan and its regions to issues aimed at protecting and restoring ecosystems, combating climate change and its consequences, " green waste management and, in general, the sustainable development of our country and the world.

This year, young scientists, undergraduates, doctoral students, students in the field of earth and environmental sciences were invited to participate in the event.

Active participants in the forum were representatives of student and youth organizations from far and near abroad (Russia, the USA, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Afghanistan and other countries), experts and specialists working in the field of youth policy, who presented their reports at panel sessions.

The work of the Forum was held in the form of a plenary session and 5 sections. By the day of the Forum, a collection of materials was published, in which 116 reports and articles by authors from 7 countries and 46 organizations were published.
