EP purpose

Training of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel (doctors of philosophy) in the field of chemical engineering for universities, research organizations and related fields capable of: - systematizing the scientific theories and concepts of the latest trends in chemical engineering in order to further apply this knowledge in the implementation of dissertation research; - carrying out independent planning and conducting of scientific research based on the choice of an actual scientific problem, as well as analysis and interpretation of the data obtained; - presenting the results of their research at scientific discussions and publications; - organizing and managing the research to solve urgent problems of chemical engineering; - developing new cost-effective technologies and schemes for the production and processing of substances and materials with desired properties; - developing and implementation of educational training courses in the chemical and technological direction in higher education organizations; - managing the production services and enterprises for the receipt and processing of materials for the chemical industry.

Educational outcome

Upon completion of this educational program, students are expected to be able to:  

• systematize scientific theories and concepts of the latest trends in chemical engineering;  
• analyze modern scientific and technical information in the leading scientific publications in the specialized field of chemical engineering using international databases;
•  put forward new hypotheses for solving actual problems of the chosen direction of chemical engineering;
•   apply systematic and interdisciplinary knowledge to develop the scientific and technical base of a specialized area of chemical engineering;
•  carry out teaching activities in the field of science-intensive areas of chemical engineering in higher education organizations;  
• develop curricula for the introduction of new knowledge and the research results into educational programs in the field of chemical engineering;
•  carry out planning and organization of research to solve modern problems of chemical engineering;  
• develop design documentation, regulatory documents to accompany the production and processing of materials;  
• manage production, services and enterprises in the context of industrial safety, quality management, risk prevention, sustainability and environmental protection;
•   develop new cost-effective and environmentally friendly technologies for the production and processing of substances and materials;
•   develop projects for the creation and practical application of new knowledge in current areas of modern chemical engineering;
