Aim of EP

The aim of the educational program "electronics and control systems" are to provide training of highly qualified specialists in the field of electronics and control systems, who have a high level of skills and abilities to work in research institutes, innovation centers, design bureaus and special-purpose scientific laboratories with deep knowledge of control theory and electronic systems, able to independently conduct research activities.

Upon completion of this educational program, students are expected to be able to:

ON1. Analyze the theory and technological features of creating control systems in the design of automated control systems and monitoring of electronic devices using modern integrated circuits for special purposes;

ON2. Systematize skills, knowledge and skills of working with devices, electronic devices and elements, integrated circuits for special purposes, as well as the use of integrated development environments in order to create a complex electronic hardware and software complex;

ON3. To integrate touch-screen devices and electronic control units for integrated circuits in the development of various monitoring systems in real time;

ON4. Design and model energy supply systems using discrete optimization methods to create intelligent decision making systems using multi-agent technologies;

ON5. Use a scientific approach when developing systems with automated and intelligent control in order to improve the efficiency and optimization of these systems;

ON6. Solve scientific problems related to modern intelligent control systems using multi-agent systems, their modeling and optimization;

ON7. Use sensor networks in the development of intelligent multi-agent systems for monitoring automated control systems;

ON8. Evaluate the results of research and draw conclusions from the results obtained, apply the results of their own research and the scientific work of other research groups for the development of electronics and control systems;

ON9. Develop and conduct scientific experiments in the field of electronics and control systems and interpret the data obtained from sensor systems;

ON10. Formulate problems related to the development of electronic control systems, modeling analysis of monitoring systems of energy systems, determine the goals, objectives and ways to solve them in order to conduct research in this area;

ON11. Demonstrate a high level of competence in preparing the results of scientific research in the field of electronics and systems automated control systems and monitoring of power system objects for publication in scientific publications;

ON12. Observe professional and ethical standards adopted in the scientific community in research work, discuss problems and solutions related to electronics and control systems, automated power systems, prospects for the development of this area and its significance for the country's economy.

During the entire educational process, doctoral students have the opportunity to attend consultations of foreign specialists corresponding to the scientific direction of the doctoral student. The knowledge and skills obtained in the doctoral program allow them to participate in research work carried out by teachers of the Department. Distance education technologies are used in the educational process for students with distance learning who have left the country on the program of scientific internships for doctoral studies.

International activity

Throughout the entire educational process, doctoral students have the opportunity to attend the advice of foreign specialists who are relevant to the doctoral student’s field of study. The knowledge and skills acquired in doctoral studies allow them to participate in research work conducted by teachers of the department. Remote educational technologies are used in the educational process for students with a distance learning, who have left the country under the program of scientific doctoral internship programs.
