Formation of human resources - highly qualified specialists competitive in the domestic and international labor market in accordance with their requests and prospects for the development of the country and the region.

To provide conditions for obtaining high-quality professional education and professional competence in the field of biomedicine and various related fields of biology, to prepare competitive graduates in the labor market with a coherent system of knowledge in biology and medicine, a holistic view of modern achievements of biomedicine; as well as creating conditions for the development of creative potential and the acquisition of a high general intellectual level of development, culture of thinking and speech, mastering the skills of scientific labor organization; the possibility of continuing education in the master's program.

Educational outcome

A graduate after studying this program will be able to:


ON1. Work in biomedical research laboratories using modern biological and medical equipment, using methods of medical biochemistry, biophysics, nanotechnology, methods of cell and tissue cultivation, biochemical and physiological studies of cells, tissues, organs and the human and animal body.

ON2. Conduct biological and medical research using modern tools: diagnostic imaging equipment, electrocardiographs, electroencephalographs, hematological and biochemical analyzers, biomedical measuring equipment, clinical measuring equipment, etc.

ON 3. To make an analysis of the functional state, starting from the cellular, tissue, organ, system levels to the organism as a whole based on the results of biomedical research.

ON 4. To carry out pre-medical instrumental diagnostics of the functional state of the body using instrumental and hardware-software tools, to give a histo-physiological assessment of the state of various cellular, tissue and organ structures in humans, to explain the nature of deviations in the structure of human organs under the influence of environmental factors on the body.

ON 5. To plan experiments on animals and humans, to determine the goals and methods of research, to collect biological material for laboratory research.

ON 6. To predict and make a conclusion based on laboratory data on the functional state of the organism from the cellular to the systemic levels of the organization in order to clarify the mechanisms of functioning of the organism under the influence of exogenous environmental factors.

ON 7. To organize the provision of medicines to the population, to know medicines by their composition, by the technology of their preparation and production, concomitant and side effects in order to prevent complications during the treatment of the patient, to know medicinal herbs and preparations prepared on their basis, their active substances and principles of application.

ON 8. Technically competently perform procedures of biomedical research methods, carry out sanitary and hygienic treatment of medical and diagnostic premises of medical organizations, possess the technique of physiological research and medical procedures.

ON 9. Observe the essence of the basic bioethical principles, legislative and regulatory documents that ensure a responsible attitude to wildlife, make decisions in a specific situation in accordance with generally accepted humanistic, moral and ethical norms and principles of behavior.

ON 10. To use the acquired knowledge and skills in practical activities and everyday life: - to comply with measures for the prevention of poisoning, viral and other diseases, stress, bad habits (smoking, alcoholism, drug addiction); rules of behavior in the natural environment.

ON 11. Plan your own activities in accordance with the task and the conditions for its implementation; monitor and evaluate your actions, make adjustments to their implementation based on the assessment and consideration of the nature of errors, take initiative and independence in training.

ON12. Create and maintain relationships in a team, be able to work in a team; demonstrate the ability of scientific reasoning, conducting scientific discussion and polemics, determining one's own position in relation to biological processes; disseminate and popularize biomedical knowledge in educational work with students, as well as in projects related to maintaining the foundations of natural science.

Training of personnel in the field of professional activity includes the following types of activities, professions, qualification levels (to describe the types of activities in accordance with the professional standard)•

-        medical diagnostics (biochemistry, virology, microbiology, molecular biology, genetics)

-        specialist in environmental services and organizations.

Scientific activity

The Department of Biophysics, Biomedicine and Neuroscience conducts research on human physiology and biophysics, Biomedicine, Neuroscience, Age physiology and Labor Physiology, chronobiology.

Personnel training is planned in the following areas of professional activity:

scientific; healthcare; agriculture.

The graduate is prepared for work in the National Research Institute of Biological and medical direction, in institutions of practical health care. He has theoretical knowledge in the field of physiology, medical biochemistry, genetics, biophysics, nanotechnology and research methods in the field of biomedicine, experimental oncology, radiobiology, methods of biochemical and biophysical studies of cells, tissues, organs and the human and animal body. He is prepared to continue his master's degree studies, as well as to master modern methods of biomedical research and to participate in the development and testing of modern equipment for studying the human body

This program in the specialty "Biomedicine" is compiled in accordance with the requirements of the universities of the top 200. The educational program is based on a modular principle based on a competence-based approach.
