Learning outcomes

  1. To create media works dedicated to the media environment and media ecology (media, technologies and communication and their impact on the human environment), based on knowledge about the history, current trends in the development of the sphere of media communication.
  2. To write material of different genres and formats, using creative technology and a flexible PR strategy, focusing on the history and theory of communication, analyze and compare media content, identifying their strengths and weaknesses.
  3. To convey to the audience the history of interpersonal and business communications based on the challenges of global information and communication for the benefit of society and adapt it to national practices, to identify the specifics of the formation of media philosophy, including social sciences, political science and psychology.
  4. To carry out various types of media products/media messages (in the format of an educational newspaper, radio and TV programs, posters, commercials, etc.), analyze and select edited material, manage media plans, expositions; make production and management decisions.
  5. To implement multimedia cases and storytelling stories on ensuring social responsibility using fact-checking tools and regulations and ethical standards.
  6. Using the tools of media technologies, to create creative media projects to promote social media and SMM communications, ensure their implementation, correlate the results obtained for further development.
  7. To create informative metarials on media consumption, based on critical thinking and arguing your position; analyze media market and its development predict using the tools of digital technologies.
  8. To compare the technology of creating a media strategy and solve problems of modeling and promoting programs in community management, including various cultural contexts.
  9. To promote effectively high-quality content in YouTube journalism by compiling a mudboard collection, an estimate, a content plan; write a script and a synopsis concept, run a channel on Youtube, including formats and genres of popular media products.
  10. To distinguish between relevant types of content for the media, based on the media behavior of the audience, create communication strategies and information packages, using creative approaches and innovative technologies for media monitoring.
  11. To assess the trend of market development for the information promotion of image and branding, to identify and predict the features of the developing media space using multimedia storytelling, taking into account the norms of tolerance and impartiality in the coverage of events.
  12. To bring an individually creative, innovative component to professional activity, developing  personal and professional individuality, using empirical methods and digital technologies (smart communications, social networks, mobile applications).
