EP purpose

Preparation of competitive high-level specialists capable of independent research and professional activities in the field of social work; skillfully systematizing and interpreting interdisciplinary theories and concepts of the newest areas of psychology, sociology, law, medicine, and pedagogy in order to further apply this knowledge when writing a dissertation research and in social and clinical practice; carrying out independent scientific research using the method of modeling social reality and designing new areas of social work; assess the specific social situation and determine the significance of the results of scientific activities of scientists and their professional groups, actively represent their own scientific opinion in scientific discussions and reasonably defend it within the scientific language of professional communities.

Educational outcome

  1. Apply the theoretical and methodological provision of the newest research aids in social work (actual interdisciplinary orientation, new approaches, tendencies and trends), and the principle of social partnership in the sectoral interconnection and social management.
  2. To generate modern models of social protection, crisis intervention, rehabilitation, to offer flexible technologies, situational methods for solving social problems on the basis of an independent original approach.
  3. Conduct master classes, trainings, independent study of social problems with a projection on promising new directions of social policy, apply the techniques and methods of social and psychological therapy in the rehabilitation of socially vulnerable groups of society.
  4. To build up a research process on the urgent problem of vulnerable groups of society; reasonably and reasonably submit scientific results of a theoretical and empirical nature for discussion in scientific discussions and publications in rating journals in international databases of Thomson-Reuters or Scopus, as well as in national and international peer-reviewed publications.
  5. Plan and conduct scientific seminars in higher education organizations with the participation of social work practitioners for professional discussion of issues of social support, protection, correction and rehabilitation of the needy and implementation of social projects that affect the improvement of the quality of life of people.
  6. To present the results of scientific research on the prevention of the health of socio-demographic groups in the framework of the biopsychosocial-teaching approach in the form of social projects, scientific reports and social experiments.
  7. Assess the scientific potential of interdisciplinary methods used in social research and in clinical practice for the prevention and prevention of marginalization of the population and social exclusion of outsiders.
  8. Formulate the basic criteria of moral behavior that do not allow cruelty and violence in society, link them with the goals of social research and the tasks of social welfare of the population.
