Academic activity

The preparation of undergraduates within the EP is carried out by highly qualified specialists from two universities - al-Farabi KazNU) and KBTU, providing a high-quality educational process, where undergraduates are presented with the theoretical and practical foundations of biomedical engineering. The training of specialists meets high standards aimed at training specialists in this field.

A unified information system of the university allows you to increase the efficiency of the assessment of undergraduates and provide them on time with all the necessary information (contests and news, schedule, assessment system, educational and methodological materials for disciplines: syllabus, methodological recommendations).

Scientific activities

Master's studies within the framework of the EP "Biomedical Engineering" are focused on obtaining new competencies, primarily the skills of conducting independent scientific research, implementing scientific and practical projects, and teamwork skills. During their studies, undergraduates participate in scientific research under the guidance of highly qualified teachers and researchers. The result of the research activities of undergraduates is a master's thesis, based on the results of the defense of which an academic master's degree is awarded. The main results of the master's thesis are presented in at least one publication in the recommended scientific journals.

International activity

Within the framework of the EP, it is mandatory to undergo a scientific internship for undergraduates, organized with the aim of familiarizing with innovative technologies and new types of production in scientific organizations corresponding to the profile of "Biomedical Engineering".

Quality assurance (Accreditation, rating, work with employers)

Ensuring the quality of educational activities is supported by the participation of KazNU and KBTU in the national and international ranking of universities, EP also undergoes specialized assessment and accreditation.

It is imperative to provide feedback from students, employees, and employers.
