EP purpose

To provide training of scientific and scientific-pedagogical personnel of higher qualification, capable of innovation in political science, able to create new conceptual knowledge based on the latest achievements of modern political science, generating new original scientific results based on current knowledge about the methodology of research, expert, consulting and analytical activities in the field of politics.

Educational outcome

1. to demonstrate a deep and systematic understanding of the methodology of political research, professional skills in formulating research hypotheses and models based on the theoretical and empirical foundation of modern political science, using specialized scientific databases;
2. to assess the state and directions of contemporary political processes on the basis of acquiring the modern theoretical and methodological approaches in political science;
3. to acquire the methods and techniques of critical analysis and synthesis that applicable to propose new complex ideas and on their basis   be able to plan, implement and adjust the process of political science research with a high degree of scientific reliability;
4. to modify existing methods and develop new ones for solving problems of political science research;
5. to carry out independent research, characterized by academic integrity, based on modern theories and methods;
6. to make a scientific contribution through own original research in the development of political science, which deserves publication at the national or international level;
7. to obtain scientific findings focused on urgent issues of the development of political science and Kazakhstani society;
8. to carry out communicative activities in the scientific field, taking into account international standards of scientific practice;
9. to apply creative methods of political decision-making and the creation of mechanisms for their implementation in the development of strategies and tactics of social and political activities and public administration;
10. to carry out analytical and expert work on political diagnosis and forecasting of political processes;
11. to carry out consulting services, analytical and methodological support of the activities of actors of political processes;
12. to use innovative technologies of teaching  disciplines related to methodology of Political Studies in  in accordance with international standards of educational process.
