THE ONLY WAY TO STOP THE SPREADING OF THE VIRUS IS VACCINATION
Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has taken a number of measures to combat the COVID-19 epidemic. Realizing that the only way to get rid of the epidemic is to get vaccinated, deans of faculties, deputy deans, heads of departments were vaccinated in full, which served as an example for the teaching staff and students.
Every day, faculties count the number of vaccinated and send statistics to the department for educational work. According to the latest data, 82% of the faculty of the Faculty of Medicine and Health are vaccinated. The faculties of geography and nature management, biology and biotechnology, working closely with teachers and students, are also leading in terms of the number of vaccinated.
In addition, doctoral students, undergraduates and bachelors of faculties are actively advocating to strengthen vaccination work. Despite the summer holidays, student activists of faculties and youth organizations held 171 events. Teachers of the Faculty of Medicine and Healthcare have appeared in many print and electronic media, including on the Almaty TV channel, curators-consultants conduct explanatory work among the population, supervise hours, prepare articles and shoot videos about the benefits of vaccination.
The main idea of the video, created by youth organizations, is to show the difficulties of online education in a pandemic and explain that the only way out of such difficulties and to overcome the disease spreading around the world is to get vaccinated.
Thus, demonstrating their civic position, the student youth believes that only having formed collective immunity, it is possible to return to the beloved university of KazNU, plunge into student life and implement major projects.
