On April 22, 2021 (12.00 to 13.00), Professor of the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature Tumanova Ainakul Bektasovna held a lecture on the topic «Language picture of the world (LPW): general characteristics, typology, and analysis». Purpose – to introduce a common characteristic of the category of LPW. At the lecture, questions were considered about the concept and relation of the terms «picture of the world (PW) » and «LPW», «CMW» and «LMW»; about the typology of PW and LPW; about the specifics of the term «contaminated LPW»; about various approaches and methods of LPW analysis. In conclusion, brief information about the dissertations of Grigorieva I.V. (Almaty, 2020), Temirova Zh.G.
