Congratulations! Al-Farabi KazNU, Department of Finance and Audit, Islamic Finance Centre graduated first Masters in Islamic Finance in the country. 

Al-Farabi KazNU Islamic Finance Scientific and Educational Centre has been nominated for Best Emerging Islamic Finance Education Provider 2020 as part of the 10th Global Islamic Finance Awards (GIFA) 2020 taking place in September 2020. Congratulations on the nomination in recognition of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University’s contribution to excellence in Islamic finance. In addition to Al-Farabi KazNU Islamic Finance Scientific and Educational Centre, three more universities have been nominated in the same category.

On April 6-7, 2020, the Farabi Alemi International Conference of Students and Young Scientists was held at the Higher School of Economics and Business of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The conference in the direction of the Higher School of Economics and Economics is devoted to the topic "Economic development of Kazakhstan in the framework of the project "One belt, one way ": alternative views of scientists." The conference considered reports of a theoretical, experimental and applied nature in various fields of science, in particular in economics.

Islamic Finance Centre in collaboration with Al-Saqr Finance JSC, in order to promotr initiatives for the implementation of business education and given the need for training in Islamic finance prepare the program for students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University from low-income, large families and orphans. They will take the course on the Basis of Islamic finance by funding al-Saqr Finance JSC. Chairman of the Management Board  Mr. Duman Nurbayev expressed their willingness to support students in the desire for education.
