On March 12, 2020, the 6th International Student Forum was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University’s Department of Oriental Studies in Kazakhstan. The purpose of this forum is for students to present social issues in the foreign language they are learning. The theme of this year's forum was on “SDGs Goal No.9: Industry innovation and infrastructure in Japan and Kazakhstan”. Topics generally covered at the annual forum include foreign language learning methods, gender issues, tourism and other social problems.
