A meeting was held with Aidos Amantayevich, a doctoral student of the Faculty of History of the New York State University, organized by Duysenbai Kulpynai, a teacher at the Department of Chinese Studies at the Faculty of Oriental Studies of al-Farabi KazNU. The event was attended by teachers and students of the Department of Chinese Studies. The purpose of the event is to further increase students' interest in the Chinese language by informing them about studying in the USA. First, the students got acquainted with the life of Aidos Amantayevich. They then asked questions about the education system that were of concern to them. During the event, students shared their thoughts and improved their knowledge about studying abroad and Chinese.
