In accordance with the decree of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 11, 2021 No. 689 "On approval of the list of holidays in the Republic of Kazakhstan", the Day of Languages of the People of Kazakhstan is celebrated on September 5 alongside the significant holidays.

On September 11, 2021, on Zoom platform, Gulmira Zhetkergenovna Utemisova, the senior lecturer of the Department of Kazakh Linguistics of the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, held a " ANA TILIN-ARYN BUL...! literary and educational evening together with 203 study group of Kazakh philology in order to foster students’ respect for  their mother tongue.

The students, Sagidullin Arsen and Tursynbay Zukhra were the main organizers of the evening. Oka Zhanat, Ongarbai Seitkerim, Sabyrzhan Yershat recited skillfully the words of the great poets about the Kazakh language. Tansykbaeva Feruza made the colorful and interesting presentation about Akhmet Baitursynuly’s poetic language. Shayk Zhanel, Tansykbaeva Feruza read the poems written by them. Saken Seifullin’s poem: " Til " was recited by Tursyn Zhansaya, Shubaeva Aigerim, Shaimerdenova Kamila, Serikova Ulnar, Serikbol Burlen, Ongarbai. Seitkerim, Seitzhappar Aktilek read the poem "Kazakh tili"by Magzhan Zhumabayev in a very beautiful and touching manner. The students, Adina Timurova, Tursyn Zhansaya, Suranshi Damira were responsible for the event technical support . Ongarbay Seitkerim, Sabyrzhan Yershat, Kamila Shaimerdenova ended the event with the song "Adai".
