11 December of 2019 there was the opening ceremony of branch of Publishing-editorial and art department of Al-Farabi Kazak National University at ‘Kazakh encyclopedia’ publishing house. The faculty team managed by the dean of faculty Sagatbek Medeubekuly attended the publishing office and made the two-side agreement. Zhadyra Toibayeva, the director of ‘Kazakh encyclopedia’ appointed as a branch director. The aim of opening branch is to combine practical and theoretical knowledge of students, make a way in preparing qualified young specialists. Also preparing editors, literate correctors and typesetters. Apart from this, during the meeting there was discussed questions related to publishing.

Moreover, next day, on 12 September in National book chamber of RK was opened another branch of Publishing-editorial and art department. Famous poet Almas Akhmetbek read strong and thoughtful poem ‘Kok tudyn zhelbiregeni’,that affected on people very efficiently. Afterwards the director of National book chamber of RK Adil Koytanov and dean faculty of journalism at Al Farabi Kazakh National University Sagatbek Medeubekuly signed the two-side agreement.

The opening ceremony, being parallel with Independent holiday started from the Anthem of Kazakhstan.
