QS Stars - Four Stars
KazNU was the first of the country's universities to be awarded the QS Stars - Four Stars star of excellence.According to the results of an independent assessment conducted by QS in 2018, KazNU was the first university in Kazakhstan and the only one in the Central Asian region to receive “Four Stars” superiority in the international rating “QS StarsDevelopmentRoadmap”.Rating from 0 to 5 stars QS is assigned to universities according to the results of a comprehensive analysis of more than 50 indicators, reflecting the wide range of activities of the university and its compliance with high international standards.The assignment of the QS Four Star superiority mark means that KazNU has a high international reputation and demonstrates leadership positions in the global scientific and educational space. Excellence stars demonstrate the strengths of the university and help orient partners and those wishing to enter the university when choosing a university.Thus, according to a number of indicators, KazNU was awarded the maximum 5-star rating: the provision of educational services, the level of internationalization, the development of infrastructure and inclusive education.It should be noted that only five universities in the CIS countries have four stars QS – KazNU. al-Farabi and four universities from Russia.
