21st COMSATS Coordination Council Meeting

For the first time in the CIS, at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the XXI meeting of the COMSATS Coordinating Council for Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South was held. Al-Farabi Kazakh National University is the only university from the CIS that has been a member of the COMSATS organization since 2015. This tandem contributes to the development of cooperation with leading scientific and technological institutions of 25 countries in Asia, Africa, Latin and Central America. The University, being the COMSATS Center of Excellence in Kazakhstan, has the opportunity to attract Islamic funding for research and innovation projects that are implemented jointly with scientists from COMSATS member countries. The meeting was attended by 50 well-known foreign experts, scientists and heads of research centers and universities. Scientists discussed the results of the Centers, heard reports on the implementation of joint projects and the approval of the annual work plan for the events.
