The field training practice of second-year biology students took place in the Kyrgyz Republic, Issyk-Kul district, the village of Bosteri in the sports camp of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

In accordance with the curriculum of the faculty and with order No. 4-1770, from May 27 to June 15, 2019, 2nd year students of the specialty “5B060700-Biology” of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University underwent field training to consolidate the theoretical material in practice in the territory of the sports camp of KazNU in Issyk-Kul (Bosteri village, Kyrgyz Republic). The purpose of field practice: consolidation of theoretical material in the disciplines “Biodiversity of plants and animals” and “Zoology” by introducing representatives of the studied groups of plants and animals in natural conditions. In particular, the students analyzed and got acquainted with the flora and fauna of the Kungei Alatau ridge of the Northern Tien Shan, and also got acquainted with representatives of the algal flora and hydrofauna of Lake Issyk-Kul.
