Coordination meeting with the delegation of Belarusian universities on the "APPLE" project

On September 21st 2020, at the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics, there was a coordination meeting with the delegation of Belarusian universities on the "APPLE" project - an Applied Curriculum for Space Exploration and Intelligent Robotic Systems.

On behalf of Kazakhstan, the project coordinator is the head of the Department of Mechanics of Kaz National al-Farabi University Rakisheva Z.B. The meeting was attended by the dean of the Faculty of Mechanics and Mathematics Zhakebaev D.B., deputy. Dean for Research and International Cooperation Zh.M. Bektemesov, members of the project team.

On the part of the guests - professors of the Belarusian State University - Saechnikov V.A., Chernyavskaya E.A., Belarusian National Technical University - Gutich I.I., Trofimenko E.E., Belarusian State University of Radio Engineering and Radioelectronics - Prytkov V.A. , Lukashevich M.M.

The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the development of scientific cooperation, exchange of experience in organizing the work of the tetro office, on the developed educational programs, including new disciplines of the project. For the guests, excursions to the laboratories of the university, a campus tour with a visit to the Situation Center, the Student Service Center, the Center for Process Innovation, and the Library were held.

As a result of the coordination meeting, an agreement was reached on the conclusion of bilateral agreements between KazNU and Belarusian universities, as well as on further cooperation in the field of space technologies.
