Recently, the assistant professor of our department T. Kunakbaev shared with one story related to the photo ghosts of famous pilots.

Kunakbaev Tulegen Ospanovich was born in 1950 in the Novosibirsk region, in the Kulyndinsk (Kulyn) steppe.

 In 1964, he, as an excellent pupil, the pioneer-Komsomol leader of the school and the athlete, was given the only ticket to the whole region to the All-Russian pioneer camp «Орленок» on the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus, near the seaport of Tuapse. There a meeting of schoolchildren with cosmonauts Yuri Gagarin, Andriyan Nikolaev, Vladimir Komarov and Konstantin Feoktistov, who were resting at that time in the city of Sochi, took place.

 At this meeting, Tulegen Ospanovich managed to photograph all the pilots with a simple Smena-5 camera and get their autographs.

Thanks to Tulegen Ospanovich, who decided on the eve of Cosmonautics Day to share with us with this interesting history, these historical photographs and no less valuable autographs of cosmonauts.
