A student of the Department of Mechanics of the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Bekzat Ajan, won the Bolashak scholarship.
Today, Bekzat Ajan is a graduate student at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Iliinois USA. He is a major in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Fluid mechanics & CFD.
It should be noted that the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is the largest of the University of Illinois campuses. It was founded in 1867. Located in the merged cities of Urbana and Champaign in central Illinois. About 50 thousand students and graduate students study at the university, and more than 2.5 thousand teachers work, 11 of them are Nobel Prize winners.
