From October 10 to 12, the Erasmus Day was held around the world in support of the global event with the hashtag #Erasmus Days2019.

The European Union's Erasmus+  - program is a funding scheme to support activities in the fields of Education, Training, Youth and Sport.

10/11/2019. 14 student teams took part in the #Erasmus Day student business ideas competition organized by the Almaty University of Energy and Communications (AUES). The start-up team of the FLYUP Group company of the Department of Mechanics of the Mechanics and Mathematics Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in it with the «SMART TABLE» project and took second place. Members of the team students of the Department of Mechanics Seydakhmet Kazbek (2nd year student of the specialty "Robotic Systems") and Zhumagazy Adildaulet (1st year student of the specialty "Space Engineering and Technology") were awarded Certificates and special prizes.
