This year has become special for our alma mater - Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi. It is marked by international events in connection with the 1150th anniversary of al-Farabi, whose name is worthy of the university.

One of the significant events of the anniversary year is a university-wide holiday - the Day of graduates of KazNU. It is held annually on the last Saturday of May and this year falls on the 30th. Preserving and developing the traditions of the university, as well as taking into account the difficult epidemiological situation in the country, Alumni Day is planned to be held in a new format - online.

The distance format of the Alumni Day is being tested for the first time, and we are sure that the thousands of teachers, students and graduates in such a difficult time as in previous years will once again show their solidarity around the values ​​of independent Kazakhstan and the importance of education, science, sports and culture.
