Scientific activity – development of innovative technologies for prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases, taking into account social and environmental factors, its rapid translation into practice, the use of information technology in the management of medical process and medical training in parallel with the scientific work and clinical practice.        

The teaching staff of the department consists of 3 doctors of sciences, 1 professor, 4 candidates of sciences. Employees of the department are members of several prestigious world and European scientific societies. Proceedings of the employees receive recognition and appreciation to the Russian and the various international scientific and medical forums.

The department has a student scientific circle. The results of the students' works will be published in scientific journals. Also, students will participate in the scientific-practical conference of young scientists of Kazakhstan, CIS and foreign countries.
