Dear students, undergraduates, PhD doctoral students and teachers!

The Department of Biophysics, Biomedicine and Neuroscience of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology invites you to take part in a round table on the topic "Modern Problems of Neuroscience" with the participation of a foreign scientist Bazbek Davletov.

Professor of Sheffield University Bazbek Davletov makes a report on "Novel botulinum molecules for treatment of chronic pain". You can ask all your questions on this topic and in general on neurobiology.

Bazbek Davletov is a world-renowned innovative scientist who has gained international fame as an authoritative expert in the molecular mechanisms of neuronal functioning, cancer biology, the action of botulinum neurotoxins, and the neurobiology of pain. Professor Davletov is a student of the Nobel Prize winner in Physiology or Medicine Professor Thomas Sudhoff, an honorary neuroscientist in England, the owner of the prestigious Wellcome Trust Research Fellow grant.

Professor Davletov received his Ph. D. from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, and for 15 years headed the laboratory at the University of Cambridge, doing basic research in the field of neuroscience.

Currently, Professor Bazbek Davletov heads the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Sheffield (UK), where he develops technologies for the assembly of biomolecules, neuron activity blockers, drugs for chronic pain, and anti-cancer biologics. Bazbek Davletov has a high publication activity and citation rate (H-index-43).
