April 15, 2019 at the meeting of the Rector's office was awarded the winners of the annual contest "Best Yurt", which was organized by the Union of employees of the University "Parasat". The faculty of biology and biotechnology won the THIRD prize in the competition "Best Yurt – 2019". This year the staff of the Department of Biophysics and Biomedicine were responsible for the celebration of Nauryz on behalf of the faculty. The winners received three vouchers to SHC KazNU on lake Issyk-Kul (Kyrgyzstan). When awarding prizes in the competition, the Commission takes into account the following criteria, such as: the appearance of the Yurt, interior decoration, national color, dastarkhan, hospitality of the hosts, etc.
