The session of the round table was opened by the acting First Vice-Rector of Al-Farabi KazNU, Doctor of Medical Sciences Kanatbek Mukanov. During the forum, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Bolatkhan Zayadan spoke about the educational and scientific activities of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, which he heads.

The event supporting the holiday "Day of remembrance of political repression victims", organized by the Department of Biophysics, Biomedicine and Neurobiology of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology was held online on Ms Teams on April 21, 2021 at 12:00 by 1st year masters and their supervisor "7M01504 Biology" Umbetyarova Lyazzat. During the event the presentation and historical materials were shown.
