Master Degree students of Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau State University completed an internship on academic mobility from 17.02.2020 to 26.02. 2020 at the Department of Biophysics and Biomedicine, Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. During this period, Master Degree students attended lectures and laboratory classes of courses such as biophysics, human and animal physiology, methods of teaching biology, and also visited the Museum of Biology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

Students of 3-4 courses and undergraduates of 1-2 courses of the Department of Biophysics and Biomedicine of the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology of Kazakh National University named after al - Farabi annually conduct diploma and dissertation works at the Institute of Human and Animal Physiology. The department concluded an agreement with the Institute of Human and Animal Physiology. Under the leadership of Ph.D., Acting Associate Professor Atanbaeva G.K. and candidate of biological sciences, associate professor Abdreshov S.N. conducted scientific work. Our students and undergraduates improve their knowledge and skills at the Institute.

Within the framework of the "Profession is life's choice" program, a meeting on career guidance "Looking to the future" was held at the lyceum №178 in Almaty. During the meeting, they were introduced to the work of the KazNU. al-Farabi. During the seminar, school students asked questions, asked what specialties they could choose in the field of medicine and biology, and listened with interest to the speaker.

Today, only 10-15 percent of students know who they want to be in the future. Accordingly, the remaining majority, and this is at least 85 percent of graduates, choose a profession on the principle of "we will figure it out." However, when choosing a profession, schoolchildren and students often rely only on the prestige of the institution and the name of the specialty. In order to exclude the situation with a huge number of unclaimed specialists and a random choice of specialty, the teachers of our department constantly conduct career-oriented work during the pedagogical practice of our students for 4 courses. This work allows students to reveal their abilities and talents, to decide on that professional sphere, where they could realize their full potential. During meetings and conversations with schoolchildren, they receive information and advice that help in a conscious choice of profession and place of study in accordance with professional interests, individual abilities and psychophysiological characteristics.
