Faculty of journalism of KazNU: First place in the longreading competition "Battle of Journalism Faculty"

The team of students of the Faculty of Journalism of Al-Farabi KazNU took the 1st place in the correspondence round of the "Battle of Journalism Faculty" 2020.
There is an opinion that if you want something, sooner or later it will come true. You can even cite as an example the words of Paulo Coelho: "If you really want something, the whole world will help you in this." I have a slightly different point of view: if you work hard for something, then expect a triumphant burst of fanfare.
The "Battle of Journalism Faculty" did not work for us, students of the Faculty of Journalism of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi, easy and simple. There were arguments, temporary setbacks, panic, and even a few sleepless nights.
But the main thing is that the pleasure of the work done remains. I remember how I breathed out a sigh of relief when I looked through all the photographs I had taken of the respondent for the longread and did not find any unsuccessful.
And the interview itself became a revelation for me - they were never so difficult for me: firstly, because of a rather serious topic (“Deportation of Chechens to Kazakhstan during the Great Patriotic War”), and secondly, despite the fact that that the hero was open to dialogue, it was not so easy to approach him.
Nevertheless, the news that our team took first place in the longreads contest surprised us a lot and only energized.
I would like to prove that we can do better, higher, faster, stronger, because the guys in the team are incredibly talented and purposeful, and most importantly, you can rely on them!
