On January 16, 2020 a Memorandum of Cooperation was signed between the and the Faculty of Journalism of "Kazakh Gazettes" LLP and an educational and creative laboratory was opened. Now students of the Faculty of Journalism have the opportunity to improve their knowledge on the creative and production base of the editorial office of the newspaper "Ana tili" LLP "Kazakh Gazettes". During the event journalists of met with students and shared their experiences. Opening speech of the editor-in-chief of the newspaper Zhanarbek Ashimzhan, he addressed many issues and answered questions from students regarding the development of Kazakh journalism. At the end of the event, the editors of the meeting expressed their gratitude to the University, the Dean of the Faculty of Journalism, Sagatbek Medeubekuly, and the Head of the Department, Gulmira Sultanbayeva, and wished such meetings to be held in the future.
