Courses of improvement of qualification of journalism
“Model programs of UNESCO”
Institute for Advanced Studies and Additional Education of Al-Farabi KazNU together with the Faculty of Journalism with the support of the UNESCO Almaty Cluster Office, conducts advanced training courses for faculty members of the departments of journalism of universities, editors, correspondents of newspaper and online editorial offices, representatives of media and media companies, employees of non-governmental organizations on UNESCO model programs.
Training format:
The program of the course will give lectures and present materials for the compilation of training materials based on case studies. Individual and group workshops, presentations, discussions, project analysis, and professional consultations will also be held.
Training schedule:
Seminars and workshops will be actively conducted during the two and three week courses include:
a - presentation and study of materials on theoretical modules;
b - performance of individual or group tasks;
in - performance of creative and practical tasks;
c - compilation of teaching and learning materials.

Courses are held in Kazakh and Russian languages.
At the end, students will be issued certificates of completion of the advanced training course of the Al-Farabi KazNU in the amount of 72 hours.
