In honor of the 100th anniversary of "Qazaq radiosy", a week of master classes entitled "QAZAQ RADIOSY" - Chronicle of the Century: HISTORY, DEVELOPMENT AND FUTURE was held by the Department of Print and Electronic Media of the Faculty of Journalism of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Within the framework of the week, a book exhibition and a photo exhibition "The Spiritual Basis of Kazakhstan - Kazakh Radio", "The Voice of the Nation" were presented.

The master classes were conducted by the journalists of the Kazakh radio, as well as the lecturers of the Faculty of Journalism, who worked at the Kazakh radio and published scientific works about the radio.

«Құдай заманалар ауысымында өмір сүруден сақтасын!» дейтін қытайдың көне мақалы бар. Бұрынғы мен бүгінгінің айрығында өмір сүрген қай буынға да ешқашан оңай болмағаны сияқты, біздің буынымызға да ауыспалы кезең кейіпкері болу, тәуелсіздік төңкерістеріне қатысу, нарықтық-экономикалық өзгерістерді қарсы алу және капиталистік қағидалар үстемдік құрған тұрмыс-тіршілікке икемделу оңай болған жоқ.

On April 30, 2021, the educational and creative laboratory of press and new media named after Zh.Kenzhalin of the Faculty of Journalism of Al-Farabi KazNU announces a republican competition among young journalists and enrollees for the best works and projects dedicated to the life and work of journalist, writer Zhumabek Kenzhalin.

The purpose of organizing the competition is to promote the development of creative search among young journalists and enrollees, the implementation of creative and new ideas in the field of journalism and media.

From 21 to 25 April 2021. The School of Telegram Pedagogy at the Faculty of Journalism of Al-Farabi KazNU held an online master class of 72 hours for the teaching pedagogical staff of Abai KazNPU. The speakers of the webinars were the author of the direction of telegram pedagogy, senior lecturer of the journalism faculty of KazNU and doctoral student of the Department of General Linguistics and European Languages Seidekhanov Sanatbek Azatbekovich and the head of the Department of Press and Electronic Media, Professor, Doctor of Political Sciences Sultanbayeva Gulmira Serikbayevna. During the webinars, the participants got acquainted with the general concept and system of telegram pedagogy as an innovation in the digitalization of education in the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as learned practical methods of implementing this technology in the educational process.

There is a special event in which journalism turns from a childhood dream into a professional goal and which young people are eagerly awaiting. Every year, on the last days of April, an event has been held that unites young journalists and allows them to evaluate their creative potential. This is the Forum of Young Journalists of the Faculty of Journalism.

This year the event fulfilled its mission for the sixth time and the best creative works were awarded at the Forum of Young Journalists. More than a hundred works were submitted to participate in the competition for the best creative works among schoolchildren. According to the results of "Eñ üzdık jas tılşı - 2020", the young correspondent of the newspaper "Ulan" Aisulu Sezkhan was awarded. Also, at the end of the year, Aisulu will choose the owner of the main prize-winner "Eñ üzdık jas tılşı - 2021", will award the winner.

On April 15^th, 2021 at 11.00 in the auditorium named after E. Shaimerdenov (214) of the Faculty of Journalism of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University within the framework of the 180^th anniversary of photography in Kazakhstan, an international scientific and practical online conference "NATIONAL PHOTO ART: HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT" was held, dedicated to the 60th anniversary of the teacher, photojournalist Asylkhan Abdraimuly. As part of the conference, a book dedicated to the work of Asylkhan Abdraimuly was presented and a photo exhibition was solemnly opened.

Today, April 23, 2021 at 11.00 in the auditorium named after E. Shaimerdenov (214) of the Faculty of Journalism of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, within the framework of the IX Qozhakeev readings, a scientific and practical online conference "TEMIRBEK QOZHAKEEV AND THE MODERN SATIRIC WORD OF KAZAKHSTAN" was held. Dean of the Faculty of Journalism Sagatbek Medeubekuly made an introductory speech, who then gave the floor to the satirist, laureate of the International Literary Prize "Alash" Kopen Amirbek.
