The national Institute of the Korean language is responsible for the implementation of South Korea's language policy, both within and outside the country. Thanks to the goal of this Institute to improve the level of knowledge of the Korean language, both native speakers and foreigners, the Institute expands the boundaries of cooperation between countries and universities.

    For two years, the national Institute of Korean language and Kookmin University have been closely cooperating with the Department of the Far East. Such joint events as "Traditional Korean games" were held together with students of Korean universities and students of the Department of the Far East, a seminar of teachers of the Korean language in Almaty was held. This year, despite the pandemic, the national Institute of Korean language conducted an online refresher course for our teachers. Kukmin University annually helps to replenish the book Fund of the Department with textbooks and teaching AIDS. Thanks to such cooperation, teachers of the Department of the Far East are always in the trend.
