A round table was held on the theme: "30 years of prosperity, peace and creation" dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The basis of the round table was the reports of students on the following topics:

1. "Tauelsizdikke kalai kol zhetkizdik?" (aUezkhan Nurkeldi, Ayazbek Dinmukhammet, Serikkazy Toty);

2. "The role of the First President N.A.Nazarbayev in the formation of independent Kazakhstan" (Makin Nurgali);

3. "30 years of independence: the main achievements of Kazakhstan" (kUtushev Radion);

4. "Physics technikalyk faculty 30 zhyldagi zhetikteri" (Syzdykbekova Akaru).

It is noteworthy that the date of this Round Table coincided with the Day of the meeting of classmates, graduates of the physics Faculty of KazSU in 1981, who celebrated the 40th anniversary of graduation this year, and came to visit the faculty.

Among the guests were prominent scientists of Kazakhstan, doctors and candidates of sciences, statesmen, honored teachers, large businessmen from all over the Republic. It was very interesting for the gathered students to listen to the informative speeches of the guests, who told about their successes and achievements over 40 years of work for the prosperity of independent Kazakhstan.

We listened to a beautiful kui on dombyr and songs - dedications to the guests from Berdikhan Kaziret, senior lecturer of the TFiTF department, winner of the Republican Akyn competition "Altyn Dombyr".

The guests presented copies of their textbooks and CDs with video lessons to the library of the department.  

Among the invited guests were:

1. Ramankulov Kamal Egizenovich, Candidate of Ph.D., Adviser on the problems of science and education of youth at the Public Council of Elbasy N.A.Nazarbayev;

2. Bekbasarov Nysan, ethnographer, author of textbooks on astronomy, researcher of ancient Kazakh folk astronomy;

3. Doskozhanova Nazymgul Azimbaykyzy, Honored Teacher of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

4. Spabekova Rosa Spabekovna, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Associate Professor of SKSU;

5. Abishev Medeu Yerzhanovich, Ph.D., Professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Head of the Department of Theoretical and Nuclear Physics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

6. Bolegenova Saltanat Alikhanov, Ph.D., Acting Professor, Head of the Department of Thermophysics and Technical Physics of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The round table has achieved its goal. The speakers noted that during the years of independence of the Republic, our faculty, department and personally each of those present have achieved great success in their work, and have contributed to the development of the country. The speakers summarized that knowledge should be presented through education, because, as the great thinker of the East Abu Nasr al-Farabi, whose name the Treasury bears, wrote: "Knowledge without education, without a moral principle can do harm, not good."

The students received a huge positive emotional charge of energy, which was evident from their speeches, wishes and questions to the guests.
