On Thursday, November 28, 2019, we invite you to a meeting of the Journal Club scientific club at 4:00 pm in the 4b lecture hall on the 1st floor of the Faculty of Medicine and Health at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Arina Espotayeva, PhD- student of the 1st year of study, will present an article entitled “Anti-albuminuric effect of the aldosterone blocker eplerenone in non-diabetic hypertensive patients with albuminuria: a double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled trial”. Chronic kidney disease is a serious public health problem. According to international studies, more than 9% of adults suffer from chronic kidney disease of varying severity. In addition to the fact that chronic kidney disease is widespread, it is also associated with a high level of cardiovascular morbidity and mortality, as well as significant costs. We will analyze the scientific article, try to critically look at the available evidence, not just describe what is written. All this will help us at the stage of collecting information for our own publication and research, and in writing competent scientific publications.

Students, undergraduates, doctoral students and teachers are invited to participate in the Journal Club. We invite everyone to participate! We will be glad to see you.
