On May 30, 2020 at 10.00 p.m., the Department of International Relations and the World Economy held an annual traditional Alumni meeting using an innovative format via online the ZOOM app.

Among the invited participants there were the Anniversary graduates of the specialties “International Relations”, “World Economy” and “Regional Studies who left 20, 15, 10, 5 years ago. The meeting was moderated by the head of the Department of International Relations and the World Economy Mr. E. Chukubaev

The meeting was attended by 96 graduates and teachers of the faculty of international relations.

The graduates received the video messages from: Rector of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University G. Mutanov; Statesman, Chairman of the Constitutional Council of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Alumni Association of the Treasury named after Al-Farabi K.Mami; Consul General of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Federal Republic of Germany Konuspaev E. The graduates and teachers watched the video on the university achievements with the great interest.

During the conference there were some warm congratulations kindly addressed by the Press and Communications Advisor of the Office of the UN System’s Permanent Coordinator in the Republic of Kazakhstan E. Bainazarova, Head of the Department of the International Information Committee of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Aitmakhanov N., Leading Expert at the IMEP under the First President-Elbasy Fund, Zh. Sarabekov, Third Secretary of the Embassy of Kazakhstan in Kazakhstan Oman Moldagalieva A.
