On 6^th of April 2020 at 12.00 online discussion on the topic «The combination of modern requirements and traditions in the process of becoming a person» was held by the lecturer of the Department of Diplomatic translation  Zhumaliyeva Zh.K . 1 year students of the specialty International Law took part in this discussion. Online event was aimed at identifying effects of controversies of traditional upbringing and modern life style on self-identity formation of the individual. Students were active in sharing their views and personal experiences. They highlighted importance of understanding and respecting traditional values in self-development.

This year we have been celebrating 175 anniversary of our great poet and composer Abay Qunanbaiuly. 2 year students under the guidance of the Senior lecturer of the Chair of Diplomatic translation Karypbaeva G.A. prepared and read Abay's poems in English and Kazakh.

April 4, 2020, senior teacher Baitukaeva D.U. an adfizer hour was held on the topic “Preventive measures to against coronovirus” with 3-year students of the specialty “International Law”. 

The most important thing you can do to protect yourself is to keep your hands and surfaces clean. Keep your hands clean, wash them often with soap and water, or use a disinfectant. Also try not to touch your mouth, nose or eyes with unwashed hands (usually such touches are unconsciously performed by us on average 15 times per hour).

Carry a hand sanitizer with you so that you can clean your hands in any environment. Always wash your hands before eating.

Be especially careful when in crowded places, airports, and other public transportation systems. As much as possible, touch the surfaces and objects located in such places and do not touch your face.

The chair of international relations and world economy of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University on March 27^th, 2020 organized of remotely Republican Student subject Olympiad on “Regional Studies” specialty. The theme of the Olympiad is "Sustainable Development: New Challenges".

On March 12, 2020, Associate Professor B.Z. Buzheeva and 1st year undergraduate of the specialty "Regional Studies" Anerova A.R. held a literary and musical evening on the theme "175th anniversary of Abai." The purpose of the event: to get acquainted with the moral life of the great poet, to promote the wisdom and spiritual heritage of the poet.

March 11, 2020 at the Faculty of International Relations, lecturers of the Department of International Law Ph.D. Associate Professor Tatarinov D.V., Ph.D. Associate Professor Apenov S.M., senior lecturer Baitukayeva D.U. a round table was held on the topic "Discussion of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 17, 1995 No. 2126" On the procedure for organizing and conducting peaceful meetings, rallies, processions and demonstrations in the Republic of Kazakhstan".

On March 10, 2020, the chair of International Relations and World Economy of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, under the leadership of the deputy head of the chair Baykushikova Gulnara Serikbayevna, organized an educational event on the theme "Problems of environmental pollution and ways to solve them."
