3rd year students of the "World Economy" major, Karina Bidzhanova, Daria Aladinskaya and Bakhytzhan Aruzhan took part in the III distance International Olympiad in the World Economy, organized by the Karaganda State University named after academician E.A. On April 10, 2020, a lecture dedicated to the work of the Great Dutch artist Rembrandt Harmenszoon Van Rijn was held.
On April 10, 2020, Maulen A. A. held an Advisory hour on the topic "Discussion of the requirements of the state exam and diploma defense" with students of the 4th year of specialty "international law". During the curatorial hour, there was a discussion of the main requirements for the design of the thesis and the regulations for the state exam.
9 th of April at 14.00 senior lecturer of the Department of Diplomatic translation at the Faculty of International relations Zhantileuova G.K. conducted online discussion on the topic “Easter in Germany” for the 1st year students of the specialty International relations. The aim of online discussion was an improvement of ethnic background, respect for traditions of Easter, cultural attributes and Easter games which are quite popular during the holiday.
Online discussion was held in three languages: Kazakh, Russian and German. Students shared their thoughts and knowledge about customs and traditions according to the information in presentation materials showcased during the discussion.
Students expressed their interest on the topic, asked and interviewed some relevant questions. Discussion was informative and brought positive thoughts. At the end of the session students gave their feedbacks using the method “Emoji - three faces”.
April 9, an exhibition of innovative projects of al-Farabi KazNU. At the exhibition, innovative projects of students of all faculties of al-Farabi KazNU. In connection with the distance learning form, all projects were discussed on the Zoom online platform, where university staff evaluated students.
From the Faculty of International Relations, al-Farabi KazNU, presented 4 innovative projects developed by 3-year students of the specialty international law. Among the projects there are ready-made and ongoing works, like the innovative work of A.E. Serdalieva “Mobile application“ Microphone ”, which is launched in official mobile applications. Project Omirzakova I. “Barber on wheels” and Zhaksybay S.N. "Veterinary clinic" social projects that have not yet been launched in Kazakhstan and are aimed at improving the service sector in the country. Start-up Duisekeev D.E., Saydazimova T.E. “Alternative methods of plastic processing” aims to improve the environment through the processing of plastic waste using new technologies.
