On November 6, the 3rd year students of the specialty International Relations together with the teacher A. M. Otepova held a round table on the topic “Symphony of symbols". The purpose of the round table is to get acquainted with the history of symbols of other states. The students presented the symbols of Iceland, South Korea, Nepal and Mexico.
On November 3, 2023, 2nd year students of the “International Relations” educational program Serikhan Amir, Tzaferi Vassili and Amanbaeva Adelina, together with their adviser, senior instructor Utegenova A.R. participated in an inter-university event - a discussion on Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education. On October 30, 2023, the Faculty of International Relations hosted a meeting of the Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Almaty, Jozef Tymanowski, with students of the Faculty. Jozef Tymanowski gave a lecture to the students on the topic "The role and importance of Poland in Europe".

Modern migration processes are an integral part of the constant transformation of the system of international relations and reflect key trends in the field of geopolitics and geo-economics. Migration processes in the Eurasian space over the last quarter century have become one of the factors influencing the formation of its socio-economic, ethnocultural and political landscape, as well as an indicator of stability, security and sustainable development in this space. The conference is the first major international event of the research and think tank “Study of Regional Relations” at the Faculty of International Relations.

On October 26, Faculty of International Relations, Department of International Relations and World Economy, Research Centre "Study of Regional Relations" organized a series guest lecture of foreign professors from India, Japan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan on Central Asian studies.
