Law students of Al-Farabi KazNU won the online Republican Olympiad in jurisprudence

Results of the online Republican Student Olympiad in jurisprudence.

October 30-31, 2020 at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University an online Republican Student Olympiad in jurisprudence was held. The students of thirteen higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part. Each team consisted of five people. The results of the Olympiad were summed up according to individual results. The goal of the Olympiad is to identify and support talented student youth, as well as to develop special professional abilities of future specialists. Students of graduation courses of higher educational institutions training in the specialty "Jurisprudence" were allowed to participate.

The team of law students of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University was represented by fourth-year students: Mubarakov Mutanbek, Gazizov Aspandiyar, Turlybi Nurym, Rysbek Shyngys and Raimkulov Aydos. All these students are distinguished by high academic performance, organizational skills, take an active part in all events held by the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law of the Law Faculty of Al-Farabi KazNU. All students of Al-Farabi KazNU demonstrated a worthy result.

Due to the difficult epidemiological situation caused by coronavirus infection in the world, the Republican Subject Olympiad was held in an online format for the first time. However, this circumstance did not in any way affect the quality of its implementation. It is worth noting here the highly professional approach on the part of the organizers of the Olympiad - the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University, who managed to organize a transparent system for conducting and evaluating the results. So the system of "proctoring" was used, which excluded the possibility of cheating on the part of students. The Olympiad consisted of two rounds:

Round 1: "Civil Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and "Civil Procedure Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

Round 2: "Criminal Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and "Criminal Procedure Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan".

Students solved case studies using specific examples from legal practice. They had to give accurate answers, substantiated from the point of view of the current legislation.

The first and second places in the individual standings were won by students of the Kazakh National University named after al-Farabi - Mubarakov Mutanbek and Turlybi Nurym.

Mubarakov Mutanbek was awarded the first degree diploma, Turlybi Nurym - the second degree diploma.

The next Olympiad will take place within the walls of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The first place, which was taken by the student Mubarakov Mutanbek, allows Al-Farabi KazNU to be the organizer of the next republican Olympiad in 2021. This is the order of the Olympiad.

For the Republic of Kazakhstan, our university prepares decent personnel. This was shown by the results of the Olympiad.
