Professor Bolathan Kazykhanovich Zayadan participated in the 4th International Conference on Bioscience and Biotechnology (BIOTECH 2019), which was held on February 21-22, 2019 in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), and delivered a presentation on the theme “Prospects of obtaining biofuels from phototrophic microorganisms”.

Scientists from 15 developed countries of the world attended the conference, and actual issues of modern molecular biology, plant biotechnology, environmental biotechnology, food biotechnology and bioenergy were discussed.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in the organization of this conference as a co-hosting partner. After reading the congratulatory speech of the Rector, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Professor G.Mutanov, a brief report on the achievements of the University and the faculty of Biology and biotechnology was presented.

BioTech 2019 aims to create a global platform to researches, scientists, academicians and industry experts to share experiences, discuss research findings and acquire the desired knowledge in the field with many networking opportunities.
