For the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, a republican intellectual game “Smart student” was held among students of higher educational institutions, organized by the Department of Economics of the Higher School of Economics and Business. The team “Barys” of the Atyrau State University named after Kh. Dosmukhambetov, the team “KAIZEN” of the West Kazakhstan University named after M. Utemisov, the team “Zhetysu” of the Zhetysu State University named after I. Zhansugurov and the team “Economics22” of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. According to the results of the intellectual game, the first place was taken by the “Barys” team, team members: Zhumakhmetova Aizada, Sanakhmetova Aygerim, Ubenova Aru. The second place was shared by two teams - the “Economics22” team, team members: Idris Rzagul, Tolkynova Bota, Satken Raikhan and the “Zhetysu” team, team members: Zhumakhanova Nargiz, Sailaubaev Bekarys, Vorontsova Diana. The third place was taken by the "KAIZEN" team, team members: Smagul Magzhan, Marksova Malika, Baygazy Almira.
