State scientific scholarships are awarded to scientists and scientific workers who actively participate in fundamental or applied research in priority areas for the state, and in the training of scientific personnel. The competition for a state scholarship was held in accordance with the Resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 830 "On prizes in the field of science and state scientific scholarships" dated July 19, 2011, by order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated June 11, 2020 No. 242 "On approval of the Rules for the provision of state services "Acceptance of works for prizes in the field of science, state scientific scholarships", by order of the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated December 21, 2011 No. 536 "On approval of the size of awards in the field of science and state scientific scholarships and requirements for registration of competitive materials" Ministry of Education and science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
