14^th of September, 2020, 10th Global Islamic Finance Awards 2020 Ceremony, which celebrates achievements and contributions of institutions and individuals towards development and expansion of the Islamic banking and finance industry, held on in Islamabad of Pakistan Islamic Republic.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Scientific and educational Islamic Finance Centre was awarded for Best Emerging Islamic Finance Education Provider 2020, in recognition contribution of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University excellence in Islamic finance.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University took part in the Ceremony online where the video of university achievements was presented and the speech was made by university rector, Dr. Galymkair Mutanov. “We are very grateful, for the high assessment of our activities. This Award is honor, and responsibility for us, in promotion highest values of the idea of Islamic finance” - said rector of the university.

Al-Farabi KazNU Islamic Finance Center is the first Islamic education provider in the country and in Central Asia. In cooperation with foreign universities and Astana International financial Centre provides educational, scientific, innovative and production potential which is aimed to the training of specialists of the highest qualification, further integration into the global educational space, development of fundamental and applied research, implementation them in financial sector.

The Global Islamic Finance Awards GIFA celebrates achievements and contributions of institutions and individuals towards development and expansion of the Islamic banking and finance industry.
