II Alumni Forum took place on May 25, 2019, dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Al-Farabi KazNU and the 25th anniversary of Alumni Association of KazNU
On May 17, The Memorandum of Understanding dedicated to cooperation in Islamic Finance was signed between Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Hamad Bin Khalifa University (Qatar), and the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC) within the framework of the XII Astana Economic Forum.
The project was implemented in cooperation with Al-Farabi KazNU with the International Financial Center Astana (AIFC) and Hamad Bin Khalifa Qatar University.
As part of the program of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan on attracting foreign professors to teaching, the Department of Economics of the Higher School of Economics and Business invited David Cheletti - PhD, professor, researcher from the University of Padova (Padova, Italy) for the period from April 1, 2019 to April 30, 2019 to conduct lectures and classes for the 1st course master students.
On May 3, 2019, the Erasmus + ENINEDU project team at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University participated in the “Road to Success!” Job fair, where team members established cooperation with employers.
On May 2, 2019, it was held a meeting with the participation of representatives of the Malaysian company ZICO Shariah Advisory Services, the International Financial Center, the Higher School of Economics and Business and the Center for Islamic Finance. This meeting was held in the framework of cooperation between AIFC and KazNU on the development of Islamic finance in Kazakhstan.
Coordinator of the consortium Erasmus + ENINEDU Dzhomartova Sh. and coordinator of the project Erasmus+ ENINEDU, deputy dean of HSEB Zhidebekkyzy A. participated in the workshop on the preparation for the cluster meeting on the theme "Projects for the development of educational programs: the participation of employers and other stakeholders."
